Similar to all other Theo Wanne mouthpieces, the Durga 5 tenor sax mouthpiece is manufactured using advanced machining techniques to ensure every mouthpiece is exactly the same. The True Large Chamber in the Durga 5 mouthpiece is larger than the bore which creates a rich and full sounding tone. Like other professional mouthpieces, the Durga 5 is crafted from professional grade brass to ensure the best quality. Once the Durga 5 has been finished, it is professionally plated with 24K gold with a reticulated finish to enhance airflow. The logo has special highlights for a truly luxurious finish.
The Theo Wanne Durga 5 tenor sax mouthpiece is a professional mouthpiece for saxophonists that require a large sound. The tip found on the Durga 4 metal 7* mouthpiece is easier to blow compared to the metal 8 or 9 and has a more centred tone with little resistance. This amount of resistance is essential for producing the direct sound required for a rock & roll tone. The tip holds good intonation, but can also produce small inflections in the tone when required.
The Theo Wanne Durga 5 tenor saxophone mouthpiece includes everything you need to look after the mouthpiece. The included beautiful leatherette case will ensure that the mouthpiece is always protected when travelling.
