The VR1 is a passive version of the Voodoo range from sE Electronics; a high-end ribbon microphone designed for acoustic instruments and strings. The unique style and look is reminiscent of vintage microphones from the late 80s, with a sleek finish. The microphone itself was designed by Company CEO – Siwei Zou. The result is a premium-grade ribbon microphone that captures the natural harmonics of lower-level audio sources. The internal components and meticulous design is ideal for micing guitar cabs thanks to the traditional figure 8 polar pattern.
