Triode-based distortion delivers unique character

The MT2D Dual Triode Distortion Module features two independent channels, with a dual triode design delivering classic warmth and grit. Its versatile patching capabilities allows for a range of processing options. They can be patched separately, this allows for parallel processing, stereo or multiple sources. You can even use the module in a series for out-of-this-world distortion from a single source.

The texture ranges from soft saturation to ultra-hard clipping. The versatile design allows you to use the module with a range of others. For example, it could be suitable as a stereo saturator at the end of a chain or for texturing an oscillator, providing added overtones for new sound.

The MT2D is one of the first Eurorack modules to utilise the brand new NuTube triodes. It improves on the design of classic tubes, resulting in improved durability and less strain on your power supply.

In-depth control and CV connectivity

The ergonomic layout features an intuitive control section, utilising symmetrical parameters on each channel. One of those most unique controls is the spectral tilt filters. These unique filters are designed to boost/cut high and low frequencies. This allows you to control the harmonic emphasis. The filters can also affect the feedback loops, resulting in experimental results.

The Bias controls acts as a manual adjustment of the offset voltage. It provides control for the overtones of the distortion, which can then be adjusted further via the drive and feedback parameters.

The module features a wide range of CV inputs, including patch points for bias, mix and mix inputs. There is even CV input for the mix controls with dedicated attenuators for added versatility. One of the most unique features is the global plate voltage switch, providing you with two varying character options.
