The Roland System-500 510 Modular Synthesizer is a compact Eurorack module that bases its design on the System-100m's 110 VCO, VCF and VCA module. The 510 Modular Synthesizer captures the essence of the vintage synth sound, retaining the classic character of the original design combined with the advantages of a modern instrument. The module features three oscillator waveforms as well as the classic Roland low pass filter with hi-pass switches. A VCA section is also included, boasting multiple outputs for added flexibility. Based On The System-100m 110 Module

The System-500 510 Modular Synthesizer is a faithful recreation of the VCO, VCF and VCA section from the renowned System-100m Synthesizer. The module combines the best aspects from the SYSTEM-500 into this versatile, single-voice module. The original module which the 510 bases its design on, features audio signal paths for the VCO to VCF to VCA, made internally along with the keyboard and envelope generator inputs to the VCF and VCA. This innovative design allowed users to create unique and ground-breaking sound/tones. Roland have teamed up with Malekko to incorporate the highly sought-after output section from the original synth, into a compact and portable Eurorack-format module.

Versatile Synthesizer Module

Building on the design of the original 110 module, the 510 features all the best aspects of the original with the advantages of being a modern instrument. The design culminates into a single-voice module that boasts three pristine oscillator waveforms. The module also includes the classic Roland low-pass filter with hi-pass switches, as well as a VCA with multiple outputs. Inputs for both external signals and modulation are present as well as output jacks for Eurorack and line-level audio signals. The faceplate features a range of retro-design aspects including vintage rotary controls and fades. There are rotary controls for the Range, Tune, Frequency, Resonance and Initial parameters, giving you full control over your sound design. The compact 20hp Eurorack module is internally normalled for cable-less operation.
