Vintage versatility
The Hartwood Charger is your gateway to iconic tones. Its chrome-covered humbuckers deliver creamy warmth and powerful character, embodying the vintage sound guitarists crave. The HH configuration is complemented by a three-way switch, allowing you to individually audition each pickup or combine the two in parallel.
For added versatility, a push-pull on the tone pot allows you to access a coil tap, offering the bright, articulate clarity of single coil pickups when required. Whether you’re riffing classic rock, soaring through blues solos, or weaving intricate indie lines, the Charger adapts effortlessly to your style.
Liquid smooth feel
The Hartwood Charger is built for players who demand comfort and playability. Its satin-finished neck ensures a smooth, fast-paced feel, eliminating the stickiness that can come with sweaty gigs. The ergonomic C-shaped profile fits naturally in your hand, offering effortless control across every position. Meanwhile, medium-jumbo frets make it easy to form chords and transition fluidly between intricate solos and fast-paced rhythms. It’s a guitar designed to inspire confidence and creativity, no matter how you play.
Enhanced hardware and vibrato
From top to bottom the Hartwood Charger is packed with pro-level hardware, offering you peace of mind and allowing you to focus on what matters the most - the music. At the headstock, a bone nut enhances tuning stability and sustain, whilst locking tuners keep your strings firmly in place, also improving tuning stability whilst making string changes a breeze.
The Hartwood Charger Vibrato model features Hartwood's 'Vibe-Roller' bridge system which pairs a vintage vibrato arm with a roller style tune-o-matic bridge. The roller bridge reduces friction by allowing the strings to move more freely during vibrato use, enhancing tuning stability and minimising string breakage. This results in smooth, wide vibrato effects which don't leave your guitar out of tune.
Make a statement
A guitar this good deserves to turn heads. The Hartwood Charger doesn’t disappoint, with its striking Strawberry Milkshake finish, pearloid inlays, and vintage white binding that all ooze timeless design. The offset body shape adds a bold, modern edge, while the iconic Hartwood logo on the headstock ties everything together. It’s a guitar that looks as good as it sounds, destined to stand out on stage, in the studio, or in your collection.
