Originally developed in the US in '80s, and based on the popular Made in Japan Traditional series, this limited edition reissue captures that retro magic. Featuring top tier components and a truly individual style, this Strat is packed with flair and playability, starting with its limited international body colour. It creates a vibrant aesthetic, and pairs with specially voiced Vintage-Style pickups to add to its classic character.
And like any Fender Strat, you can expect a comfortable and smooth riffing experience. A gentle "U" shaped neck hosts a premium rosewood fretboard for silky scale traversals and chord transitions. And even better, it's shaped into versatile 9.5" radius and fitted with 21 medium jumbo frets to adapt to virtually any playing style. Based on original US product drawings and colour samples, the International Color Series captures the spirit of Made in Japan Traditional Series. With throwback '70s appointments like the large headstock, Modern Logo and 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronised Tremolo, it bears the high standards of Japanese craftsmanship matched with the character of Fender's home country.
Complementing this is a completely unique colour scheme, created specially for this limited edition. Each model in the International series is named for a different worldly location, and presents a bright hue that contrasts with the eggshell pickguard and black shaded hardware. Altogether, it creates a totally distinctive appearance that'll make you stand out on stage.
