From smooth and subtle, to intense and rich. There is an array of different reverb effects on-board the Electro Harmonix Oceans 11. "Hall" is great for lead instruments, it offers a warm and spacious tone. "Spring" allows you to achieve that iconic '60s sound that many modern artists strive for. Engage "Plate" if you're aiming for rich tones to fill out sparse arrangements. "Reverse" reverb gives you the iconic tone of Jimmy Page, straight out of the box.
Add texture and depth by utilising the "Echo "effect. This features a digital delay and boasts three additional modes to create weird and wonderful rhythms. The "Dynamic" reverb is where it really gets interesting. This offers you a trio of algorithms including swell, gate and duck. "Auto" infinite listens to your performance and cross-fades to a new reverb. Whilst "Shimmer" is the ultimate effect for creating awe and wonder when sprinkling on to pads and leads. Finally, "Polyphonic" reverb adds another dimension to the effect with two parameters including interval edit and mix edit.
The Oceans 11 Reverb is equipped with a range of versatile controls, that offer easy operation. The controls include FX Level, Time, Mode, Reverb Type, Tone, Infinite and a TAILS Switch. The FX Level knob controls the overall volume of the effect, and the mix of dry and affected signals. The Time control adjusts the decay time, and it works with the TAILS switch. The TAILS Switch lets users choose whether the reverb effect continues after being switched to bypass, or whether it stops immediately. The Tone knob alters the colouration and EQ of the reverb effect, ranging from dark to bright tones. The Reverb Type control is for selecting between the 11 different effects, and the Mode button provides additional effects for each of the reverb types.
