Created by Dean Zelinsky, the unique ML body shape was designed with intention of spreading the body mass over a larger area, for improved tonal qualities and comfort. The ML series was named as a tribute to Dean Zelinsky's friend Matthew Lynn who had died of cancer. The ML body is crafted from lightweight basswood, delivering good dynamics and definition.
Its bolt-on neck is made from maple, which offers bright tones, and the walnut fingerboard yields a unique, earthy tone. For added power, there is a single Dean Humbucker on-board this Metalman Bass. Achieve a fierce and punchy tone with the Dean Humbucker, which can be fine-tuned with the Tone and Volume controls.
