Solid Sitka Spruce Top & Mahogany Body

The Sigma JM-SG45+ features a solid sitka spruce top which produces a versatile sound that is able to accommodate numerous genres and techniques with ease; from lighter fingerpicking styles, to heavier more aggressive strumming patterns. In addition, its stunning sitka spruce top also yields a crisp and articulate tone with a broad dynamic range, and a focused, clear sound of deep lows, warm mid-range, and bright singing highs. Furthermore, the solid top is paired with mahogany back and sides, which produce a resonant distinct warmth. Additionally, used as back and side panels, the mahogany delivers a meaty mid-range, producing punchy, woody tones with plenty of depth and complexity that will please most playing styles.

Slope Shoulder Dreadnought

The Sigma JM-SG45+ features a slope shoulder dreadnought body which has superb volume and projection yet still maintains overall tonal balance. In addition, the Sigma's sloped shoulders add clarity and balance to the dreadnought's enormous and boomy sound. The combination of tonewoods and dreadnought size enable the JM-SG45+ to deliver an excellent and powerful response with a full, rich, and classic acoustic voice. Its D-14 fret body is also able to accommodate numerous genres and playing styles with ease, from rock, pop, indie, folk and country. Furthermore, the big and bold dreadnought body offers a comfortable playing experience, although it is better-suited to players more comfortable with bigger-bodied guitars, and those with a longer reach.

Fishman Sonitone

Equipped with Fishman electronics, the JM-SG45+ is ideal for the performing musician. The Fishman Sonitone preamp system is discreetly mounted within the soundhole and offers basic sound tweaking for live and rehearsal settings. Furthermore, the Fishman Sonitone is extremely versatile and responsive, featuring rotary controls for tone and volume. With this, the Sigma JM-SG45+ is an ideal instrument for the gigging guitarist, as well as being well-suited to studio environments.

Mahogany Neck & Micarta Fingerboard

Constructed from mahogany, the Sigma's neck delivers a resonant rich warmth that responds superbly to many different playing styles with equal ease. Additionally, the neck has a low profile shape for added comfort and a better grip in each position up and down the neck. Furthermore, the neck is topped with a micarta fingerboard which offers a smooth playing experience whilst adding sonically pleasing tones to the guitar's overall sound.

Real Bone Nut

The JM-SG45+ features a real bone nut, which offers excellent resonance and sustain, along with an authentic appearance. A bone nut also delivers a very balanced tone, and will last a long time. In addition, this type of nut naturally self lubricates and helps you stay in tune for longer.
