Bohemian Guitars was founded by brothers Adam and Shaun Lee to replicate the improvised guitars that they had seen on the streets of their hometown of Johannesburg, South Africa. After bringing the idea to the USA and making instruments for friends and family, they took the plunge and formed a company with financial backing from KickStarter donations.
Bohemian Guitars produce instruments which have a truly distinctive look and sound. They have a vibrant community of players and endorsers, and an active participation in charity work. Bohemian Guitars are also committed to environmental sustainability by using partially recycled materials, less wood than typical guitars, and the use of sustainable forests or reclaimed timbers.
