Powerful Projection

The 5-piece Dios Shell Kit was designed for drummers who want huge sounding chops and punchy, deep grooves. The smooth, satin black finish and chrome hardware gives you a distinct and sophisticated look, and also features a gold DDrum logo on each shell. This Dios shell pack comes complete with two rack toms, two floor toms and a deep bass drum, so there's plenty of tonal variety to play with. The 6-ply North American maple shells provide a balanced sound with enhanced warmth and strong projection, with the 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops allowing the drums to resonate more freely for that huge, open sound. The kit features 2-ply, branded Evans Clear G2 Batter heads that provide durability and a consistent, balanced tone.

Deep, Punchy Bass Drum

The versatile 22'' kick provides a balanced punch that works well in any setting. The colossal 20'' depth and 6-ply shell helps create a loud and punchy boom rather than a short, attack-focused sound from the batter head. However, the frosted Evans EQ4 batter head has an internal control ring to minimise the overtones and bring more focus in to the bass sound for a really well-rounded bass-drum thud. The newly added Resolift also decouples the bass drum from the floor, which keeps the drum from sliding away and allows the drum shell to produce a slightly more open sound.

The Dios Series was originally introduced in 2009 and quickly rose to become DDrum's flagship kit. The North American maple shells and deep bass drum were loved by artists and customers alike. Sadly, as the market evolved DDrum moved in a new direction and Dios was no more, and it has remained only in the hearts and minds of fans... until now. The Dios kit is back, reworked and better than ever. With modern hardware like the proprietary FixPitch mounting system and bass drum Resolifts, the kit has a more full and resonant sound than ever before.
