The 13'' and 14'' maple shells are 6 1/2'' deep and can be tuned using the included tuning wrench. These shells are constructed with 6 plies to produce an incredible tone with amazing projection - perfect for any musical environment.
The LP Sheila E. Signature Timbales include a heavy-duty stand which your timbales can be mounted to with ease. This stand tilts and is fully height adjustable to provide perfect positioning and optimal playability.

Sheila Cecilia Escovedo is an American percussionist born in Oakland, California. She began her career in 1976 as a percussionist and singer for 'The George Duke Band'. After her departure from the group in 1983, Sheila E. began her solo career - gaining instant success with her debut album. From this, she become a mainstream star in 1985 following the success of a number of singles, including 'Sister Fate' and 'A Love Bizarre'. Her success gained her the nickname 'The Queen of Percussion' - which she is commonly referred to today.
