At the heart of the Chorus is a condenser capsule with a cardioid pattern. Capsules with this particular pattern are chosen for vocal recordings because of its focused sound. The cardioid pattern provides off-axis rejection, which means it records sound directly in front of the mic, whilst minimising noise around the microphone.
The result is rich and transparent sound that is studio-ready. The gold-plated dual diaphragm features a 34mm diameter. This provides more space for sound to enter, resulting in improved audio performance.Switchable Pad and High Pass Filter
The Chorus microphone also includes built-in controls for different recording applications. The switchable -10dB pad is a handy tool for high-volume audio sources.
