The Yamaha DXS12 Active Subwoofer features a highly efficient Class-D amplifier capable of 950-watt peak power. Thunderous Bass Performance

Contributing to the overall powerful performance of the DXS12 is the 950W amplifier. With an exceptional sound pressure level of 131dB, the speaker emits tones with minimal distortion even at high output levels. The 2.5" voice coil magnet ensures a defined, low-frequency bass. This low frequency can be controlled via the D-XSUB bass processing system. The 'NORMAL' mode gives users the ideal, balanced response, whilst 'BOOST' delivers a more refined bass. 'XTENDED LF' mode provides a monstrous bottom end by dropping the low-frequencies down even further than normal.
