The LD Systems PRO 8A Active 8'' PA Speaker was designed with live sound in mind, with a powerful bi-amped design, 8'' woofer and 1'' tweeter, it is equipped to deal with demanding live applications, as a full range speaker or in combination with a subwoofer. Both high quality drivers were custom designed for the speaker to offer the optimum live sound performance, and are driven by a Class A/B amplifier with 150 Watts RMS output, providing ample headroom, and minimum signal colouration. The 6.3mm jack, XLR and RCA input connectors deliver great connectivity options, allowing the PRO 8A to be used with a variety of other live sound gear.

Safe Operation and Installation

The LD Systems PRO 8A Active 8'' PA Speaker includes several features to maintain signal integrity and stable mounting on speaker poles or wall mounts. An overload protection circuit prevents damage from excessive electrical power, whilst the sturdy polypropylene physically protects the speaker from knocks and bumps. The polypropylene cabinet includes a 36 mm flange for use with standard speaker poles, a convenient carry handle and wall mounting joints for permanent installation in medium sized venues, making the PRO 8A a versatile Active PA Speaker.
