U Series

The U series have rich, resonant voices with evenly balanced timbre across the entire keyboard. Special rib configurations add strength to the soundboard whilst back post and other advances further enhance rigidity, resonance and structural stability.

U series hammers use materials specifically selected for each model to provide optimum tone production, response and long term durability. A damping mechanism, formerly used only in grand pianos prevents the fallboard from dropping abruptly onto the keyboard, guarding against accidental injury or damage.

These world standard instruments have numerous advances in materials and construction. Refined scale designs and components improve tone and others enhance strength and durability. Extra wide music desks also provide plenty of room for sheet music.

Piano Tuning

All Pianos are delivered by Gear4music having been tuned and prepared before delivery. It is recommended that you have your new Piano tuned 4-6 weeks after delivery to its final location. A new piano requires tuning due to the changes in temperature and humidity of its environment which can cause expansion or contraction of the components altering the tension of the strings. Movement of the piano's cabinet within the delivery process can also be a factor in this. The cost of this tuning is the responsibility of the customer and is not part of the purchase price.
