Innovative light-guide-system

Everything you need to know. The Lagoon ANC's intelligent Light-Guide-System sits on the inside of the ear cups, providing you with important information regarding the Bluetooth and battery status of your headphones. With them being hidden away inside your ear cups, you'll never have to worry about disturbing other people with bright flashing lights whilst you're wearing them.

Different colours are shown to give you handy indications at a glance. When you pick them up, the inside of the right housing will illuminate red, whilst the left cup will illuminate white. This gives you an easy-to-view way to distinguish between left and right when putting your headphones on. When in pairing mode, both housings will alternately light up blue, whilst successful pairing will be displayed by a blue light fading in on both sides. The Lagoon's automatic standby mode will activate if the headphones are left stored on a stationary surface for over 10 seconds. This turns the Light-Guide-System off, but your Bluetooth devices will remain connected. And with different colours to indicate your battery and charging status, Bluetooth events such as active connections or lost connections, phone calls and more, you'll always know exactly what's happening with your headphones.

Make it yours - powerful sound personalisation technology

A revolutionary collaboration between beyerdynamic and Mimi Hearing Technologies. Through beyerdynamic's MIY (Make It Yours) app, a 6-minute hearing test powered by Mimi begins your journey of sonic personalisation. This gives you a unique profile within the app that adapts the sound you hear through your headphones. The sound is completely tailored to you. All you have to do is upload your personal sound profile from the app to your Lagoon ANC headphones. The headphones will do the rest.

The app also lets you gain an insight into your own listening habits. The app measures the duration and intensity of your listening on a daily basis. An intuitive interface gives you all the information you need to determine how healthy your listening habits really are. We all hear things differently, and our sense of hearing is as unique to us as our fingerprints. This pioneering technology means you can hear things exactly the way you want to, no matter how your hearing changes over the course of your life.

High-end Bluetooth® transmission

Phenomenal sound without the restrictions of cables. Lagoon ANC headphones utilise the Bluetooth® 4.2 protocol in combination with the aptX™ HD audio codec. They also support the AAC codec for iOS devices. High-resolution sound makes its way from your playback device to your headphones wirelessly with no signal degradation. Combined with a padded spring-steel headband with just the right amount of pressure, you can listen with minimal fatigue whilst taking advantage of an effective over-ear seal that reduces ambient noise without activating the ANC technology. Every part of the Lagoons has been crafted from high-quality components and materials, with parts such as the pads, cables, and case being able to be replaced with ease. Plus, with an extensive battery runtime of up to 45 hours without ANC, and 24.5 hours with ANC activated, you can listen non-stop for more than an entire day before you'll need to charge the battery.
