It's the perfect balance between tone, comfort, and a weight distribution. Yamaha's sculpted mahogany body has been treated to their mass optimised 3D design process, so you can expect a heavenly feel that staves off fatigue. Not only that but the mahogany enriches the bass response, rewarding you with a chunky low-end resonance to help define your bass line. Installed with a high-mass die-cast bridge that's easily adjustable, all of your string vibrations will transfer to the pickups for maximum detail.

Play fierce, play loud. On a maple/mahogany combined neck you not only have superb, warm tonality, but also a robust durability that'll last you for years. Made from five layers, this neck is extraordinarily resistant to warping, cracking, or bending, giving you the confidence to play with ferocity.

And you'll be able to do that thanks to a thin, ergonomic neck profile which provides you a strong grip. As it's so slender, you'll speed around the frets because positioning your hand is a breeze. Meanwhile, on top of that neck is a rosewood fingerboard which lifts the free-flowing feel further, courtesy of its naturally slick surface. It's a combination you'll love.

The engine of your tone. These potent pickups have been tuned by Yamaha to make your sound thrive. Offering tonnes of presence and booming definition, they'll voice your output with a chunky, rumbling low-end that still possesses clarity at the top-end. This crystal clear quality is achieved by Yamaha's noise-cancelling design, while the ceramic magnets inject plenty of high-output attitude.

Sculpt, shape and modify your sound even more. The default output of these pickups is impressive, but you have banquet of bass to feast on with two-band EQ and a performance EQ active circuit. Roll in your sound to taste with the two-band EQ or switch between five performance tuned full spectrum EQ curves, letting you flick between genres simply.
