View Full DescriptionThe Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid C-7 wields a set of monstrously powerful active EMG humbucking pickups which utilize alnico V loaded magnets to deliver a truly dynamic and defined 7-string tonality. With a 57-7H in the bridge position to provide a punchy and present tone and a 66-7H in the neck position for a warm tonality and improved clarity in the higher register this raw set of active EMG humbuckers provides a professional tone as used by Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest), Dave Young (Devin Townsend Project and Jeff Loomis (Nevermore).
The Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid C-7 features Schecters's unique and innovative compound-radius fretboard design, in which the fretboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut providing a smooth playability for both chords and riffs whilst the flattened heel allows sensational accessibility and speedy at the high register perfect for both lead and rhythm players.
The Schecter Hybrid C-7 incorporates a string-thru body to provide improved tonality and sustain by transferring vibrations and resonance from the string to the body as it goes over the tailpiece and passes through the body.
The addition of a three top, four bottom machine head pattern helps to reduce sympathetic vibrations by allowing less room between the nut and machine heads to deliver a pure and charismatic tone.
