High Performance Playability

The EMG LTD MH-400M is geared towards modern musicians. The neck provides an effortless playing feel and is specified to enable technically challenging playing. The 24 extra jumbo frets allow enhanced control over the strings during bends, vibrato, legato, and other soloing techniques. The flat 350mm fingerboard enables a low action to be setup for an easy playing feel.

The MH-400M has a smooth pau ferro fingerboard and a thin "U" profile that sits comfortably in the left hand. The double cutaway contoured body and smooth neck-thru design gives an incredibly smooth neck join, meaning you'll have no more difficulty playing at the top of the neck than if you were playing right down at the bottom. This enables the most complex playing techniques, wherever you happen to be located on the fingerboard.

Quality Tonewoods

The LTD MH-400M is crafted from mahogany for a warm and resonant core tone. It is finished in a sleek satin finish which lends a classy aesthetic as well as an enhanced ability for the guitar to resonate. The neck-thru design also enhances sustain and resonance, giving you the most sympathetic tone for low range riffing. At the rear of the guitar, the satin finish shows off the beauty of the neck-thru design - it's almost a shame that your audience won't see it.

Seymour Duncan Pickups

The Seymour Duncan Custom-5 bridge pickup and Jazz neck pickup conspire to make the MH-400M an incredibly versatile guitar. Both pickups have a low-medium output that is ideal for maintaining clarity, even when heavily overdriven. Their output levels also provide exceptional nuance, so you can achieve both smooth saturation and lower-gain richness of tone.
