To understand the T5 concept, it's best to not think of this as an acoustic guitar. The ultra-thin body and pair of magnetic humbuckers place this guitar firmly in the 'electric' category. That being said, the T5 can still deliver acoustic guitar tones that sound authentic and full. The T5 offers a degree of versatility that is unrivalled by most guitars - this instrument can switch from screaming blues soloing to delicate folk acoustic fingerpicking in an instant.

Featuring a stacked humbucker near the bridge, players can plug into an electric guitar amp and swing from Telecaster twang to full bodied Gretsch FilterTron tones. A second stacked humbucker is hidden beneath the fingerboard in the neck joint, offering fat and warm woody tones. Finally a dynamic body sensor is fixed on the underside of the guitar top to capture the essence of a sparkling acoustic tone - enhanced significantly by plugging in to an acoustic amp.
