Taylor's refined take on the classic Dreadnought shape produces low-end power, a snappy midrange and strong, clear treble notes. Retaining the essence of the balanced Taylor sound, this dreadnought acoustic is perfect for flatpickers as well as players who love the traditional guitar shape and tones.

Premium Tonewoods

The sitka spruce top wood is one of the most commonly used wood for guitar tops. The combination of strength and elasticity translates into a broad dynamic range, providing crisp articulation and allowing for everything from aggressive strumming and flatpicking to fingerpicking. Perfect for all styles of guitar and players. The guitar's ovangkol body offers similar tones to rosewood, creating sweet tones with sparkling highs and thick lows. The body tonewood has a very full midrannge and is perfect for adding sustain and resonance to the strings, creating a very big sound.

Unique Bracing Pattern

A significant factor behind the incredible sound of the 410ce is the forward shifted bracing pattern with a relief rout. The 'x' in the bracing pattern is moved closer to the soundhole, enabling more of the guitar top to vibrate, delivering maximum tonal quality and projection.

The Perfect Guitar Neck

For ultimate playability and peace of mind, all 400 series guitars feature Taylor's unique NT neck design. The NT neck was designed to give players a straighter, more stable guitar neck, resistant to common problems such as changes in humidity. The neck sits in a custom fit pocket along with laser-cut spacers. There's a perfect neck angle for each Taylor guitar, and these precision spacers create it. Best of all, because there is no glue used in the NT neck design, maintenance and adjustments can be made by trained technicians in a matter of minutes.

The 410ce also comes with Taylor's industry leading Expression System 2 pickup, meaning that this guitar is ready for the studio or the stage. The system uses magnetic sensors mounted on the body and under the fingerboard, meaning that when you plug in, you hear an accurate, warm representation of your guitar.
