Lightweight Basswood Body

Basswood has a balanced and warm tone with a strong mid range. It is a lightweight tonewood which offers extra mobility and comfort when performing. Despite its lightweight, basswood has good structural stability which means it will withstand small knocks and bumps.

Trio Of Single Coil Pickups

The Tanglewood TE2AW Baretta Series Electric Guitar features a trio of single coil pickups, which deliver a bright and crisp tone. They are often described as having more bite to them than humbuckers and also sound more "gritty". Single coil pickups are used by players that prefer to play a softer genre, such as classic rock, country and surf because they have more twang. Light D'Addario Strings
