Alder Body & Quilt Maple Top

This new 2017 Dinky DK3QM features an alder body, topped with quilt maple, delivering a resonant and balanced tone with plenty of clarity and body. Alder has been a favourite tonewood in guitar design since the 1950's as the balanced response and slight upper middle definition makes it perfect for rock and blues playing. Alder also provides a lightweight guitar that can be wielded all night long without heavy strain.

Compound Radius Maple Fingerboard

This Dinky DK3QM features a compound-radius fingerboard, crafted from maple. This new innovative design means the fingerboard is gradually flatter toward the neck heel, and more rounded profile at the nut. This makes for comfortable and natural-feeling chording and riffing near the nut, with optimal shred articulation and bending nearer the heel.

Classic Jackson Headstock

The angled headstock featured on this Dinky DK3QM guitar is carefully angled at 17 degrees, increasing the pressure on the strings and helping them to stay in the nut slots. In addition, an increase in string pressure also means there is no loss of string vibration between the nut and the tuners, which equals better sustain and an overall smooth play.

Trio Of Seymour Duncan Pickups

The DK3QM is perfect for the metal guitarist and features a trio of Seymour Duncan pickups including a JB TB-4 humbucker, and two flat strat SSL-6. With this classic HSS pickup configuration, players can achieve warm, aggressive harmonics along with sustain and distortion, and an overall versatile sound that can go from blues to metal at the flick of a switch. Control options include master volume and tone, and a five-position blade.
