GIO Series

The GIO Series was designed and developed by Ibanez for guitar players who desire the premium-quality of Ibanez instruments, but in a more affordable, stripped-down package. Not only does this range of guitars look and perform better than everything else in their price range, but their rigorous inspection, set-up, and warranty is identical to Ibanez's signature models. Infinity R power

Bring in the big guns. This GRG170DXL is powered by a trio of Ibanez Infinity R/RS Pickups, with an Infinity R Humbucker at the bridge, and RS Single Coils in the middle and neck. These pickups deliver a versatile array of tones that work for a variety of different music styles. Expect clean notes with thick, harmonic tones, and plenty of punch. The humbucker offers a high output, noise-free sound, whilst the two single coils provide lower output, vintage-style twang. And you can easily shape your ideal sound with the Volume, Tone and 5-way pickup selector controls.

Slick feel

It's a true treasure. The maple neck on the GSA60 is one of a kind. Its superb playability will inspire you to write riffs all day long – and you'll find it easy to do so. The smoothness of the finish combined with the exceptional attention to detail make it a real pleasure to play. And the rosewood fretboard offers a warm tone, helping to balance out the brightness of the maple for a well rounded voicing. This is a guitar which can handle anything you throw at it.
