Being a slight upgrade from its younger brother, the BDK-1 Drum Kit, you benefit from improved Brass cymbals which offer greater tonal qualities, higher grade hardware and bass drum pedal and also the GD-2 range offers a larger variety including Rock and Fusion size kits and in a greater selection of finishes.
With the slightly smaller 'Fusion' style Toms featured on this kit you can achieve higher pitched tunings that will cut through cleanly without the deep resonance you get from 'Rock' size drums, making this kit ideal for Pop, Soul, Jazz, Funk and R&B, as well as solo play. Fusion kits also tend to be a little easier to tune and being smaller are easier to transport!
