View Full DescriptionThe Evans Orchestral Series Timpani Head series contains a black, powder-coated steel insert ring which serves to deliver a pleasing effect when pedalled and afford additional support to the tensioned head. Whereas the Timpani Head excels at pianissimo, it will not break up or sound strained at triple forte. The Head will retain definite pitch at all dynamic levels.
