The Snareweight M1 is a specially designed dampening system for snare drums that features a 4" leather strip that can be attached to any snare drum by using its patented clip that can fit any drum size. The M1's leather strip can be changed depending on what you need, with four different amounts of dampening ranging from very light and light to medium and none at all. It has a flexible design which allows it to match your natural drumming dynamics and prevents it from sticking to the drum head.

Multiple Dampening Settings

The Snareweight offers 5 different settings to choose for, providing the ability to find the correct amount of dampening you want. It’s magnets allow for quick changing and will hold the M1 securely and won’t affect the sound of your drum. The M1 can be set to no dampening at all, all the leather on the drum, left half folded over, right half folded over, and both sides folded over. These different setting can be used to find the right amount of dampening all in one simple and easy to use device.
